ETCH CLEAN
Surface Preparation
ETCH & CLEAN is a concentrated, acidic cleaning solution that provides a light etch. By lightly etching the surface, the material slightly increases the porosity of the surface, allowing better penetration of the stain solution, without damaging the substrate chemicals required for subsequent acid staining.
Areas of Use
It is used for preparing concrete surfaces for acid painting, removing salts that cause white stains due to efflorescence, and surface cleaning by abrasion method.
Features and Advantages
It ensures that the surface is cleaned and gently abraded before coating. It slightly abrades and roughens concrete surfaces without the need for mechanical abrasion. It is easy to apply. It increases the absorbency of the concrete in paints to be applied on the applied surface. It helps to remove stains that have penetrated into the concrete. It ensures that the loose grout layer on the surface of the concrete is scraped off.
